EXHIBITION NOW SHOWING at the central library Lancaster December 4th 2011 until January 31st 2012. I have over 25 paintings on display and a short presentation playing on the plasma screen in the main room. Some of the paintings are there, some in the reference library and some in the meeting room. I am exhibiting at the library, which has recently had a complete overhaul and looks lovely, by the invitation of Liz Cox, Head Librarian.

RECENT EXHIBITION was at the Health Centre in Great Eccleston on the Fylde. I exhibited there at the invitation of Mr Colin Billingham from October 3rd to November 28 2011
The LUNESDALE STUDIO TRAIL is over for 2011. This was the 12th Trail. Many visitors came on the three weekends in June and, as well as showing my studio to lots of new faces, I sold many paintings. So all in all a very successful Trail!

I had work in the Facing North Exhibition which was held at the Clitheroe Castle Museum at Clitheroe in the Ribble Valley. This work was sold. Another Facing North exhibition is being planned with the Museum Service of Lancashire, which will include more of my work. The Facing North Project started some six years ago to celebrate the variety and diversity of artists living and working in the North of England. The concept was to ask 50 artists to submit an example of their work and to more unusually ask each artist to produce a self portrait in any media or form of their choosing. The Facing North exhibition illustrates a selection of the talent and diversity of these northern artists, showcasing their work and how they see themselves.

which is a lovely venue for coffee and a good look at some artwork. It is open daily, with a changing programme of exhibitions, from 10am to 5pm all year.

Wray Scarecrow Festival During the annual festival week at Wray, there is usually an opportunity to see work by the Lunesdale Trail artists in the Church in the village.
